  • Was in town for a week from Chicago and spent a good amount of time at EICC! Thoughts: Excellent coffee drinks. Great green smoothie. All around a very solid beverage program. Baristas and workers are nice, not overly focused on customer service. Great looking space and very comfortable. Nice tables and countertops. The music selection is incredibly bad. Very focused on 90's alternative rock. Lots of Train. If you love "Sweet Virginia" you are in the right place. Soundgarden yesterday. I did hear some Fleetwood Mac today. I think that there needs to immediately be a "recycling" can at the front entrance/exit. There is one in the back, but it is not being used as much and there is a lot of unnecessary waste. Tried 2 of the cookies, the "salted chocolate chip" and the "monster cookie." The Salted CC was a C+ and the Monster cookie was a C-. Both were dry and hard and did not really taste like anything but dough. They were fine but I expected more because they looked good and the coffee is so good here! I would definitely come bak and recommend it, but there are some things to work on.
