  • WASTE of TIME and MONEY. We have a 4 month old Rottweiler that we want professionally trained. We have another dog we had professionally trained in California and she's incredible. I spoke with Orlando (owner) in the past about what we expected from the training. When we met with him after our puppy was fully vaccinated it was obvious he wasn't going to train our dog to the level that we expected. He showed us a 5 month old puppy that had been at his facility for 25 days and the dog was minimally trained. (Mind you at the end of the visit he told us he doesn't take dogs until they are 5 months old. Hmm what about the 5 month old you have inside that you've been training for almost a month?) He thought he dog was trained very well. After his highly animated "sales routine" I asked him if I could see how his dog played with our puppy since he kept saying how his dog would spend time with our dog. He got very nervous about showing us his dog and asked us two more times after the request if we wanted to see his personal dog. He brought the dog out and quickly put it back in his create only after if demonstrated how it wasn't trained to the level he said it was. When it chased my dog (not in a friendly manner) Orlando had to yell No!! to his dog more than three times for it to listen. When I told him that wasn't impressive to me, he got very defensive and said he didn't have her on "trained mode." I expressed concern that I want to count on my dog always listening to my commands and not needing to put him on train mode. He just became more defensive. Basically we spent two hours and $200 dollars to watch how poorly trained his dog and the dogs he is currently training were and to have him go thru his phone showing us videos of dogs that he'd trained. When we did see a dog that was reasonably trained, without even asking us he'd say "this dog is way more trained than what you guys want." After the third time of him saying that we told him he was wrong and that our dog at home is trained better than any of his dogs or videos he's showed us. Our other dog went to a three week boot camp and she's the best dog anyone can ask for. We will be taking our puppy there. It's a bit of a drive but so worth it after seeing how poorly a dog can be trained at best in show. He also fed our dog treats that gave him the worst diarrhea. My advice, if this review doesn't turn you away from best in show training, bring your own treats.
