I really wanted to try this salon out based on the reviews I read here and because they were named one of the best salon's in Toronto on BlogTO. I tried to make an appointment and explained in detail what my current state of hair was and what I wanted to have done. They refused to combine a consultation appointment for my hair colour at the same time at the same time the appointment would be for my cut and colour. I explained to them that I live out of town (about an hour away) and didn't want to have to make two trips into the city. Regardless, they insisted that it was their policy that I had to make two separate appointments (one to see if they could fix my hair and then the second to actually do the work). No one on their website did I see this policy. It's actually the first time I have come across a salon that makes you do things that way. Regardless, that was an automatic turn off. So as much as I wanted to come and try this salon I thanked them for their time and moved on. Obviously, they don't care much about acquiring new clients. I did find a salon in Toronto who did accommodate my request and I had my consultation, colour and cut all in one and it turned out fabulous and I have never been more pleased.
