  • I remember when AkaiHana was called Mr. Sushi and am beyond pleased that the quality of the sushi remains top notch! I decided to bring an out of town guest since his sushi experience prior was limited to sushi buffets. He loved sitting at the bar and watching our rolls being prepped. Our sushi chef, Jack, was quiet, but amicably responded to any of our questions after he announced each of our rolls as they were ready. He even gave a free sample of sashimi! My friend's favorite roll was the Tootsie Roll because of the crunch and sweet sauce. My favorite was the Butter Me Up ... Garlic butter with a hint of wasabi topped with seared salmon! I also enjoy the remodeled open concept space. I will definitely be back! Side Note: "Who Says" by Selena Gomez played in the background ... Her music is one of my guilty pleasures.:)
