  • This hotel is always fantastic. We have stayed here five times now and it is just wonderful. Even if you don't get the strip view the other side has a great view of the pool and dolphins and you can still see the strip. If you get the volcano view its pretty cool because you get to see the volcano erupt from your room. The rooms are fantastic. We have stayed in the tower rooms and in the regular rooms and both are great. The only difference is the tower room you get to stay on the 24 or 25 floor and there are private elevators for the tower rooms. The other difference is the bathroom. The regular room has a bath/shower combination and one sink. The tower room has double sinks and the bathroom is bigger. It also has a HUGE bathtub and separate stand alone shower. The room size is about the same though. The tower room has two smaller closets one on each side of the bed. The regular room has a regular size closet. So if you have the extra money I recommend the tower room, but the regular room is just as fun. The rooms have a huge TV and desk area with all the outlets and usb's you could ask for. There is a separate chair and the bed is so amazingly comfy. The staff is wonderful. From check in to bell service to everyone at the restaurants everything is just fantastic. They really treat their guests like valued customers. The hotel is just gorgeous. There is so much to do there. From the Cirque show LOVE which is all Beatles music and amazing, we have seen it twice. Terry Fator is incredible as well, we have seen him twice and I can't recommend him enough. They also have touring music groups and comedy as well. They also have the dolphin habitat and white lions which is so much fun. It's inexpensive to visit and so cool to see them feed and care for the dolphins and the white lions are such magnificent animals. They also have experiences you can pay extra for and swim with the dolphins or have them paint you a picture. The restaurants are out of this world. I highly recommend the Pantry. It is the best restaurant ever. It's open 24 hours and has breakfast all day. Their dinner is great too. We usually eat almost all of our meals there when we stay. You can also order take out and pick it up and take it back to the room. The service there is lovely as well and the breakfast is out of this world. Highly recommend the omelettes and the berry french toast. We also love the Carnegie Deli amazing cheesecake and sandwiches, and dessert at Heritage Steak House is fabulous. I also love the parlor lounge. They always have live entertainment. The grounds are luscious with all of the greenery and plants and flowers. It's an easy hotel to get around too. I don't love that they keep raising the resort fee. It was $32 when we stayed in Feb and now it is $35. They also charge for parking now. It is $10 a day for self parking and I think around $20 for valet. It is still way cheaper than most areas you vacation but it was really nice that Vegas didn't charge for parking. I am also not in love with the pool setting. It is huge and the chairs are so close together at busy times you are packed in like sardines. All and All though this is my favorite hotel that we have stayed at on the strip and I will continue to visit the Mirage whenever I can. I love that even though they are a huge hotel they still treat you like its a small boutique hotel.
