Dr. Henry advertises in my church bulletin. When it came time to find a dermatologist, I chose Arcadia because of this. I had several appointments with Dr. Henry over nearly six months. While he prescribed the standard treatments and employs helpful and friendly staff, I cannot recommend this practice.
The reason I stopped receiving treatment with Dr. Henry was this: after several months of appointments, he prescribed me a medication for acne called Aczone. Of course, I asked what EXACTLY this medication does. This is my face we're talking about. The doctor told me that this is "a topical antibiotic." As we're still talking about my face, I did some followup research before filling my prescription. It turns out that the first page of the Aczone website states "It's not a benzoyl peroxide (BPO), not an antibiotic. It's something all on its own that helps control acne in a gentle way..."
Either Dr. Henry is incompetent or he is a liar. Either way, I immediately stopped treatment at this office. The front desk and assistant staff can't make up for a doctor you can't trust.
