My family and I went for the lush gothic decor - we stayed for the friendly service, rich coffee, and tasty food. The cafe is decorated with vases of dried flowers, dark paint, and comfortable reclaimed pews, wrought iron chairs, and eclectic upholstered pieces. The soundtrack was a fitting, pleasing Bowie- Velvet Underground-Joy Division mix. The staff was courteous and friendly. We ordered and paid at the counter then they served our order at the table. We enjoyed a French press of Columbian coffee, a decaf Americano, almond-milk hot chocolate, and cake - all winners. This is a welcoming place to linger over coffee and conversation. Check out the garden seating through the back door. Note: the restroom is in the basement - not universally accessible. Overall a treat - I look forward to my next visit.
