  • Complete disappointment! I read about the way they make fries and went to try them. All I can say is COLD, SMOOSHY, COLD, ICK! My friend was nervous because we were the only customers at noon, but I wanted to try the fries, so we stayed. Bad Idea! The waitress sat us inside, as requested, but then left us. We had to get our own straws; she took a great while to come see about us; she just sort of disappeared. When she gave us the crinkled, dirty menu, she said "this is our lunch menu." Turns out, it's the only menu. She told us that "hush, hush" sauce was a thousand island style sauce, but it was actually a white sauce. I didn't dare put it on the fries because I didn't want the fries any colder. The inside seats were super uncomfortable; they were metal chairs that looked big enough for children's Sunday school classes. Outside seating was just picnic tables. When I spend $12 for a la carte cheeseburger, I want to be able to relax into a nice chair. We never saw anyone else come in the dining room while we were there, which was lunch rush, and only two outside tables had customers when we left around 12:45. I definitely know why, and, worst of all, my friend was right. When the place is empty at lunch rush, RUN away! Did I mention that the fries were cold, smooshy, and ick!
