| - I come here when I have a group of friends, some want sushi and others don't like it. The pan-Asian menu satisfies everyone! It's a narrow space. I think it would be hard to seat more than 6 or 8 together.
I get the rice bows (4-step entrée), which are PLENTIFUL. I ordered the larger, plate-size. It was more than 2 meals for me. All the sauces on the 4-step entrées are really good. I can't decide which one I like best.
The (all young, all female) servers wear tank-tops, and they all have the same look/aura. That worries me that the manager is hiring based on looks, not professionalism.
The sushi is good and comes out quickly. I have not tried their all-you-can-eat, but if you do, beware: there are lots of rules posted.
The owner's wry sense of humor pervades the place (menu, website, table tents....) Sometimes it works, sometimes it degrades the atmosphere.
I mentioned to the owner once that I thought someone made a mistake with my sauce. It was too hot for me to finish my dish. I told him I thought he should check that batch of sauce. I had eaten it other times with no problems. He giggled and told me a wild story about his plans to add an "exit-wound level of spiciness to the menu. So hot it burns twice!" I wished he had taken me seriously. BTW the "exit-wound bowl" is now on the menu.... see what I mean about his sense of humor?
