Unfortunately our TVs didn't work. We were told we would be moved by engineering to a room with a working TV but that didn't happen. The one in the bedroom would turn to the home channel on it's own. The one in the front room did not work at all. This was bad since we had kids. There was trash under the bed. I discovered it when we were leaving and I looked under the bed to make sure we didn't leave anything behind. The elevators worked intermittently. Again, hard with three small kids in tote walking up and down the stairs.
The layout of the rooms was nice. I like that there was space between the room and the living room. Two of our children slept in the living room. You should really research what's nearby before driving around. We thought it would be a good idea to drive around to see what there was to eat. I wound up going to Fresh and Easy to get something to microwave. Most restaurants were already closed by 9 and there wasn't much close to the hotel. There's a Sprouts market, McDonald's, Walgreens, and Panda Express off the freeway.
The pool was open really late and people were in there close to midnight. It was pretty noisy on the weekend. We liked the small water park attached to the resort. The pool closest to the entrance of the water park was very cold. The one on the back side by the basketball/volleyball nets was warmer.
Aside from almost getting into a fight with some dumb asses in the parking lot who almost hit us, we enjoyed our stay overall. But yeah, you will encounter some rude/drunk folk. I totally would've went to jail had the driver hit one of my kids. People drive crazy here so be careful.
