| - I moved here thinking that I wanted to live in a nicer place since it was Summerlin and the outside looks very nice, but don't be fooled and don't judge a book by it's cover. The rent was very high, but I thought I would get what I paid for. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst place I've lived that. The apartment was okay, but the staff was amazingly horrible. Turn around for the staff was very frequent. People would quit all the time. They don't really care about you and they could care less if you have a problem. They never pick up their phones. I would walk down to the office and call them and watch them ignore the phone call. So when I confronted them on how come they aren't picking up their calls, they said that they've been having "phone issues" even though I witnessed them ignoring the calls. Getting maintenance can be very tough. I don't think it's the maintenance guys fault, but the staff. Well I'm giving them one star because my lease was March 31st and I told the staff member Courtney that I would do month to month and would be moving out on June 1st, is there I need to do before I move? She said "no there isn't" Then in April, I gave Lauren a forwarding address which she wrote down and I asked if there was anything I needed to do before I moved? She said "no." So the day came for me to move and the assistant manager Jennifer said she had no idea I was moving and I needed to write a 30 day notice. After explaining my situation, they pretty much said too bad and charged me for an extra months rent. The worst part of it all was that no one wanted to take responsibility and they generally did not care. When I was waiting to speak with Brianna the property manager, she seemed to avoid me all day and claimed that she was running around going to Home Depot to pick up parts, but that's what the Maintenance Supervisor is for. When I finally got to speak with her she said she's very busy and runs other properties so she maid it seem like my issue was not important. She didn't apologize for the miscommunication or anything. She just didn't care and said too bad. So then I walked out and needed to speak with her again. This time her door was closed and Courtney and Jennifer was inside and huddled around her phone. I thought it was a serious issue, but when I watched them, they were watching some video on Youtube and laughing at the video. They knew I was outside, but continued to watch the video and have a good time laughing. This has been THE WORST staff I have ever been around. Do not be fooled by the outside because the management and the staff are terrible. Thanks for robbing me for $1000.
