This hotel is in one of the worst parts of Las Vegas.
When I was leaving the hotel on a Sunday mornings at 8:30am.
As I approached my car I noticed someone getting out of my car.
I had to do a double take and make sure it was my car.
Well it was and it was me and the car thief face to face.
And he had no place to go but towards me as my car was against a wall.
Well we got into a small scuffle and after I punched him he fell and crawled away from me and ran away to the apartment complex right next door.
Seems the hotel knows about this issue and because of the neighborhood the hotel keeps the front door locked. And you have to use a side door with a key card to get in. And the security guard is useless. As when I got home late Friday night about 4am. The security guard was asleep in his car against the wall by the apartment complex.
When I notified the hotel they really didn't seem to care much about this issue as I had a few emails with the hotel manager. Then all of a sudden she stopped communication. Mindy Kaufman offered me a complementary nights stay at the hotel by giving me 20kpoints.
But why would I want to return to this hotel.
I had a few items stolen out of the car like an iPod and other small items.
But Holiday Inn doesn't seem to care.
We will never stay at this hotel again and we're in Vegas a lot.
If you value your security and safety. Don't stay here
