This place is a must visit when in Vegas. Get away from the Strip, get away from the buffet table and have some really really good food.
Mexican home cooking I have to say. This is the way my grandmother would have cooked...if she wasn't Norwegian and from MN.
Service was great after a short wait for a table. We sat by the tortilla station, pressed fresh and tossed on the flat top. A fresh tortilla is the only way to really enjoy Mexican food.
The food came out quick, very authentic and very nice spice. I had a pork dish with flour tortillas and they were so soft and fluffy I could have eaten them all day. The pork was wonderful, perfectly cooked with a nice heat but not overpowering. Bean were good as was the rice yet I left them alone do to the tortillas, didnt want to crowd them from the meal.
Well worth the visit and the wait and I will be back.
