| - Ok, we live in the hood and most experiences with Pinos are hit and miss. Last time we dined in we had an awkward experience where one of the meals wasn't anything close to expectations, we hadn't eaten more than a bite of the dish - we shared our feedback with the waiter - in a really nice way with the waiter. He was sincere in saying sorry and asked if there was something else my wife would like instead. They prepared the other meal, never saying 'hey, we're happy to make you something else but you will pay for both' so I was surprised to see the expense for two meals in place of one. When I spoke to the cook/manager? he didn't offer anything up, no refund of any meals, just a 'sorry'.
Ok, so I thought, no more dine in - but we'll get 'to-go'. So tonight we order two pies, both were to have sausage, and I go to pick them up. It's true I didn't approach it with the same attitude as I would with McDonalds or Jack so I didn't look at the pizzas. Get home, and one of them doesn't have sausage. We call up and the girl first hammers with questions saying she was sure it had sausage....um, yeah, one did but not both and that was the request. So she was SUPER kind and after some dialogue said she'd credit us $1.75 for not putting the topping on.
Cracks me up because when I walked out the door, the cook/manager was sitting out front at a little bistro table and said 'thanks, I made those pizzas'....well, congrats - you sure made them...just not to what the customer specs were.
