| - This place is a great apartment complex, but the management and staff ruined my experience both times I lived there!
The first time I lived there, I moved out because I was moving to New York. After living in NY for about 4 months, I received a call from a debt collector saying that I never paid them my move out costs. I specifically asked when I moved out if there was any forms or fees and they said no! Not only that, but they made up some random address to send the bills to, and address that I didn't give them and didn't even know where it was. To make it even worse, the manager lived a floor above me, we were friends, and he had my cell phone number. Ever think about just giving a girl a call? Apparently not...
The second time I lived there was a disaster from the start. I was told I would have the apartment all to myself. On move-in day, they have me the keys and directed me to a different apartment than I was promised. They key did not work in the main door nor in the bedroom door. Thy ended up having to literally break into the apartment to get me in and when we got in, someone was already living in the other room... Not quite the empty apartment I was promised. Then, the girl turned out to be a huge bitch who stole half my closet and made the apartment a living hell, but they wouldn't do anything about it except tell me that I could move apartments for a $200 fee. When I actually agreed to move apartments, I found out that they had sold the apartment out from under me and there were no other available rooms... In addition, I had a cat (which,granted, I wasn't suppose to but a lot of people in the complex have secret pets). When my horrid roommate that they stuck me with told the office, they came to the apartment and threatened to take my poor rescue kitten to the pound! Needless to say, I moved out the next week. Then I had to find someone to take over my lease and they spent the next month shooting down everyone I brought in, even students. Finally they moved someone into the room and I got out of the lease. Only to find out now, 6 months later, that they once again called set collectors on me for some made up bill. This time, I contacted them and they said that they sent bills to my parents address, my email, and called my phone. Neither I not my parents received any of these notifications and I seriously doubt that they even tried sending them.
STAY AWAY!!! There are much better apartment complexes that wont give you the trouble that this place does.
