| - Top notch classy place in Aria.
I was here on a weekday for lunch with my husband, as work brought him to Vegas for the week. We had our 13 month old with us, and I instantly was nervous because walking in it was clear that the restaurant is posh and probably not keen on having babies in the dining room.
Luckily, it was pretty empty, and doubly lucky, my son was an angel and didn't throw any food! Our server was super professional and nice, and gave us lots of good recommendations on food and wine pairings. Hubby's coworker was dying to try escargot, and he said they were good, but he was disappointed that they weren't prepared classically.
French onion soup- I LOVE me a good onion soup covered in that melty cheesy goodness. This soup was good, but not too memorable.
Lobster bisque- Hubby ordered this, and he's not really a soup guy, or a rich thick food guy either, so I was surprised he ordered it. I thought it was good, it had a strong lobster flavor to it which was nice since usually you can't taste it.
World's best butter- the guy we were with ordered this, as he's never had French food before and wanted to go all out. You spread it on the bread, then sprinkle some sea salt on top. It was pretty tasty, I have to say, but their regular bread and butter was just fine to me too.
Chicken cordon bleu- Delicious! I've never had this dish before but I've always wanted to try it, and it was really yummy. Prepared perfectly, it had a nice crunch but the chicken inside was still juicy and moist. My baby loved it!
Steak frites- the two guys ordered this. The steak was great, prepared nicely, and their fries were delicious.
Overall, we had a very lovely, pleasant lunch here. Yes it's pricey, but the food was really good and I'd say worth the price. The restaurant space is gorgeous, and our service was top notch!
