  • After liberally dusting the carpet with the kind of flea powder that you leave on 24 hours and vacuum up - and covering the powder with moving blankets (added bonus of letting us massage the powder into the carpet and trapping the fleas from jumping up and escaping!)... we realized we needed more powder! Fortunately, Petco was nearby and I needed to fill my motorcycle's tank anyway. So, I threw on some gear - drawing odd looks for wearing a helmet in Ohio, and continuing my grand "Tour de Mentor Ave Mega Box Store Strip," I went to Petco. There were some friendly folks working here and one lead me right to the area where I could find what I was seeking. They had several options for the white carpet powder stuff and I bought several containers, was checked out fairly quickly with a smile and a thank you!
