| - We got tickets to the show ahead of time, for our anniversary. We were informed on the confirmation email to pick up the tickets at least an hour early. This theater is deep inside the "Miracle Mile" of Planet Hollywood. Uber dropped us off at the hotel check-in, and we had to ask for directions several times to find the theater, none of which were helpful. As we wandered around this huge mall of stores, through the large crowd, which includes young children and crying babies, we finally found the Saxe Theater and got in line. This is when they try to upsell you by offering optional drinks. We got the tickets, and found a place to eat to wait for the show. We then went back to get in line. When they began to let people enter, there was a photographer taking everyone's picture. You were then told to enter a bar and sit down. No explanation was given. You could then purchase drinks at this bar, but we were wondering why we were told to stay in here, instead of entering the theater. I asked three employees, and were told they would let us in in a few minutes. We then noticed a lot of people leaving the theater, and assumed an earlier show was ending, but on one ever told us why we were in a bar. When they finally began asking people to go upstairs, people who were just arriving were going in ahead of everyone who had been waiting for over 30 minutes in this bar. The crowd was then "herded" up six staircases. We entered the theater and were guided to our seats. We were in the 5th row, VIP seats ($200). The seats are very close together, and they only let people enter the row from one side of the theater. We were in the middle of the row, so each time someone arrived, we had to stand so they could squeeze by. Cocktail waitresses were walking around asking for orders. Once the show started, it was cute, entertaining, and fun. But, you MUST realize this is a "tribute" to old Vegas, the singers are NOT impersonators. They sing the same songs as Sinatra, Martin, Lena, Gladys and the Pips, etc...but they do not sound like them or look like them. After the show, you then have to find your way to an exit. You then go back down six staircases. Right before the door, you walk past a display of all the photos they took as you entered. Even though the photos are only $10, it is very crowded, as you're trying to see the pictures, but people are also trying to leave. Our knees hurt so bad from sitting so long without being able to move our legs at all, we just wanted to get out. I tried to find out if I could purchase the photos online, but you can't (too bad). We liked the show, and really loved the fact that the music was a real "big band" sound, right on stage. We then had to navigate our way out of the Miracle Mile, and got lost trying to find our way out to a street. The whole experience was confusing, and exhausting for us. We will never go back. The show would have been worth it if we had paid about $50, but for $200...it wasn't. I would say it's more like a cute community play instead of a Vegas show.
