  • The worst part about going to Hot Yoga Wellness at Kennedy is Allan's Pastry Shop. That bakery is a yoga-practice-sabotaging temptress! I guess I can blame my own lack of self control and discipline, but it is always easier to point my finger at others. Allan's on Kennedy North of McNicoll serves up a mean Jamaican patty for an affordable $1.09 + tax! Delicious freshly baked patties are definitely worth the wait. Patience is a virtue! These are not your typical dry nasty beef patties from the processed food-filled frozen aisle of Food Basics or No Frils. Allan's patties are flakey yet light and non-greasy with a moist filling. Nom nom nom! The store is always packed with loyal partons. When choosing patties, taste trumps health! Allan's also offers an authentic Jamaican experience for $2.32, coco bread + patty and a can of pop! If you are craving for trapezoid shaped (spicy/mild) beef, chicken, goat or vegetarian patties, Allan's is the place to be! Be sure to get them right out of the hot hot hot oven!
