| - My sister and I recently spent the day here celebrating her 40th birthday with a day at the spa.
When I first called to make reservations, the staff was very polite and was willing to help explain services I had questions about, as well as check-in and cancellation policies prior to our visit.
Both my sister and I had services that included the 25 minute espresso scrub and a 50 minute Swedish massage.
The locker rooms, changing areas, restrooms, and showers were comfortable and well stocked. In the locker area, there was a 'clothing spinner' to help take excess water out of attire such as swimwear, so you didn't take it home wet.
For our brief wait prior to our services, we enjoyed tea, fruit, and water, along with some sisterly conversation . We finished up at about the same time and met in the same place afterward where we found the waiting area to remain well stocked with healthy snacks, tea, and water.
My sister and I were very well relaxed from our services, and both felt that her therapist were excellent. My massage therapist was Ginger. She was attentive, and concerned about me being comfortable. Ginger also explained every process of the services very well. Inside the massage room, there was a adjacent large tub and shower where I washed the espresso scrub off my skin. I found the scrub to be very hydrating ,as well as exhilarating.
We enjoyed some rest and relaxation in the wet sauna area. Both of us agreed we preferred moisture over the dry sauna but they have one if that's what you like. The facility also has a large Jacuzzi as well as a small cold pool.
The main reason why the spa receives four stars instead of five is because of the size. Although there seem to be ample room for the amount of people inside, the spa is a little small compared to many spas I've been to. The facility was nice, but is a little on the pricey side compared to other elegant spas in town.
Overall, I would definitely return to the spot and ask for Ginger. the massage therapist, again.
