Came here for brunch...been looking for a Louisiana themed place for a while now. The ambiance is very different. It's almost as if they're trying to give it the French cafe look but with beads and plastic decor randomly set up in different place and instead of the live music being upbeat like the NO feel would give you, it was more so sad and somber. It was cute though and has a lot of potential to be great. I ordered the crab omelette and some beignets in hopes of it being similar to my French mother's and my bf order the shrimp and grits. I will say my omelette was surprisingly good I had no disappointments especially since I went ahead and put the hollandaise on the side( Im not a huge fan). The beignets were good but nothing compared to authentic, they were overloaded with powdered sugar like wayyyyy too much. The shrimp and grit ratio was off a lot of creole sauce, decent amount of shrimp, not even close to enough grits, and the cornbread that came with it deserves a prayer and some Holy water(it was hard and disgusting). I will say I'd give the place another try but for a Louisiana themed restaurant it def would not be for the shrimp and grits.
