| - I took my 2008, Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3.0 Ltr Diesel in for service at Renfrew Chrysler. This is the 5th vehicle I've purchased from Renfrew over a span of 11 years.
I had a persistent oil leak underneath the engine of my jeep and reluctantly brought it into Renfrew Chrysler. I say reluctantly because every time I've been in for service I am always being up-sold on one service or another by the attendant, Brian Pink... what's more, when I decline the additional service, Brian Pink has a way of making one feel guilt for their decision.
None the less, I check the jeep in for service. The four day experience at Renfrew Chrysler was nothing short of a gong show.
What was promised was not delivered in any way. The service attendant's behaviour - Brian Pink - was less than professional... including blaming his own colleagues for being new, miss communication, speaking out of turn, and their inability to find the source of the leak.
After four days of "checking out" my jeep, all Brian could tell me was that he thinks the leak is coming from the rear main seal and they'll have to pull my motor to fix it. $3500 quote. I pulled my jeep out of Renfrew Chrysler.
I got a referral from a friend to go to Canadian Import Auto and speak with Richard. In less than 10 minutes up on the hoist, Richard knew exactly where the leak was coming from and said he could simply drop the tranny and fix it. What? You don't have to pull the motor? No he said, who told you that? ...hmmm...
There are some very good people at Renfrew Chrysler... the front office, the sales team (remember, this Jeep was my 5th purchase at Renfrew Chrysler), Parts team and Tim (One of the mechanics I met one time)...
Brian Pink is the reason why I will never return to Renfrew Chrysler - never to service my jeep, never to buy another vehicle from Renfrew Chrysler, nor will I refer Renfrew Chrysler.
