  • I don't recommend going to the Nuture Salon in the Luxor for a mani/pedi. I booked an appointment for a luxury mani and luxury pedi, and here are my thoughts: Pros: -The scrub and paraffin treatment were good. -She worked hard on the feet exfoliation and made sure they were gorgeous and smooth. -The staff was friendly and kind. -The space was clean and had a modern appearance. Cons: -The space was not nearly as elegant, large, or beautiful as the other spas on the Vegas Strip. It is tiny and has no frills compared to the spas at the Aria, Carsar's Palace, etc. I'm upset that I paid $160 at the Luxor for a luxury mani/pedi when I could've paid just a tiny bit more to actually be pampered in a gorgeous spa within walking distance. -The polish job was AWFUL. (see pictures below) She polished my nails and then immediately applied a large amount of quick drying oil... The oil was so shiny and reflective that I couldn't see the flaws and the tons of bubbles in the polish until long after I left the salon and the oil dried. I contacted the salon and told them about the issue, and they said I could come back the next morning to get my polish redone. After thinking about it, the 2 different colors of polish (one color on my fingers, one on my toes) were BOTH poorly applied and super bubbly, so why would I go back to the salon and have them reapply polish? Seems like the outcome would be the same. And I'm on vacation! The last thing I want to do is spend time sitting in the salon AGAIN with no guarantee the outcome will be any better... when I should already be enjoying myself in Vegas with gorgeous nails. -While I was in the salon getting my nails done, another customer from earlier that day came back in, complaining about her nail polish and asking for it to be redone. Is this a common problem? Save yourself some time and frustration and do not go here for a mani/pedi! I paid $160 to get some moisture/exfoliation and to be embarrassed about my nail polish. The only reason I even tried the Nuture Spa & Salon is because I was staying in the Luxor on this trip. The manager is supposed to call me - I will post an update after that.
