| - Personally not a fan of places that don't value my time, money, or experience with them.
The place itself was somewhat small, I came in at 245 for a 3 appt. I was greeted immediately. They seemed very keen on trying to up-sell, which isn't unusual. There were two others (strangers) there to get the foot detox, who were informed that they would stay in the waiting area during their joint foot detox session.
At about 3, i was informed that they only have one facial room and there was an ongoing facial happening. I was put in a tiny room with an LED mask set with a 20 minute timer. The timer went off and it still took them another 10 minutes to come in and check on me. Mind you, it's 330 at this point. They removed the mask and informed me that the other person's facial was still going on and would be done shortly.
At 350, I was still in the small dark room, by myself, not having been checked on for 20 minutes. I went ahead and left the room, the waiting area had a different person doing a foot detox with no signs of the employees. I went ahead and left.
I did not receive my facial, but I paid.
I waited for 50 minutes and saw someone once during that time. Twice if you count when they moved me to the back room.
They apparently double booked facials knowing they only had one room.
And worst of all? I'm not even sure they noticed I left. No calls or checks when I up and disappeared since I couldn't find any employees.
I noticed most the reviews stated great prices as well as being new to facials. I'm not new, I get them once a month and was hoping to find a new place to go, closer to home. The prices are not that low, they're really about average, especially when you consider the subpar standards such as getting services in the waiting room or waiting long periods of time. I can't imagine the facials would be standard or better than other places considering how uneasy and awkward the employee seemed to be when I asked questions.
