  • My dear father had heard of this new aquarium and since i was visiting town he invited me and my grandmother to go. We came on a thursday around 10:30 am. Tickets are not cheap however, I do understand this is a very expensive place to maintain so I get that price is relative. My overall experience was in fact a 3 out of 5. I did enjoy the facility and found the tanks very beautiful; However, it was a bit frustrating for the price paid and time spent that often times we couldn't see the tanks because the place itself was so packed with people ( and lot of screaming kids running around). I do understand that this places needs to make money but I felt as though the majority of the time was spend making sure unruly lose kids wouldn't run into my grandma or run infront of the tank when we had waited in line to see it. I felt as though their was little regulation and order going on in the facility and I believe with that many people there ought to be. One of the best times I was able to see was actually the restroom view of the shark tank; this was mainly due to the fact that it wasn't packed to the brim like the remainder of the place. I will say, the staff that we did interact with were very friendly and courteous so that did not go unnoticed ! So overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you don't like large crowds but it is a very nice way to spend time on a hot summer day in AZ!
