  • We will never shop here again for our reptiles or anything else we need. My boyfriend wanted to start breeding so we were planning on spending a lot of money here. But now that we found out they don't give a cr@p about their customers that's not going to happen. I don't have experience caring for these pets but My boyfriend has experience with lizards and all types of reptiles, spiders, fish you name it. We went to their expo today in Las Vegas hoping to find something rare but we bought a $600 monitor around 1 pm and left the expo to bring it home. Sometime while we were setting up the cage the reptile died and we were so shocked when we were going to transfer him that he was no longer alive. and thought maybe they sold us one who was old or maybe hadn't had water all day since the expo began. Anyway we immediately went back to the expo hoping to get store credit to at least get a different one and all they could say was there's nothing they can do and if we left him in the car.? Why would someone who knows how to care for these leave something they just spent so much money on in a car. Anyway I thought this was a very horrible experience. We won't be coming back to this store Update from the actual buyer for the comment left: First of all the monitor was purchased at 1pm during the expo and it was only a 30minute ride home. Which the monitor was being handled all through out. After completing the substrate I noticed the ackie puffing up with its tail lifted inside the cup. When I went to retrieve him he released liquids from his bottom and completely stopped moving. A total of an hour from when he was purchased he passed in which we drove all the way back 30 minutes with the monitor still in the cup placed on the dashboard as explained above. Once the above person reviewed the ackie he noticed the bottom was hot and immediately assumed I left him in the car stating it was 4.5 hours ago. I then asked if there was anything they can do such as store credit or anything since he was 650 dollars. He then replied, "no, it's going to be my word versus yours. The lizard was raised by us and very healthy. It's your fault you left him in the car on the dashboard." Telling me that that's all he heard as explained above in his comment. It left me furious how they can assume that I would leave a very expensive monitor in the car when it's 97 degrees outside and even hotter in the vehicle. I would not do that even with a dog regardless if he's full grown or a puppy. All in all I've learned that LLLreptile only cares about the money and animals which is great , however not about the customers. Meaning if an animal dies in your care it's your fault period.
