I went to the Bridal Expo in Phoenix in June and had booked a bridal appointment for July. With all of the craziness of booking, evidently there was a mix-up and my time slot had been overbooked. They were nice enough to call me and let me know so that I could re-schedule. I ended up being able to come in a day earlier and it worked out even better!
I took two of my bridesmaids with me for the appointment and got there a little early so that we could look at bridesmaid dresses while we were there. All of the employees were so nice and helpful when we had questions.
My stylist was Carlyn (not sure if I'm spelling it right, I don't have her card while I'm writing this) and she was amazing! She already had my favorites list from David's Bridal online and we went over the ones I wanted to try on. I had a $600 budget for the dress not including accessories and she was VERY respectful of it. She never picked out a dress that was over budget, and the dresses she selected were just the style I liked...big, princessy ballgowns. She helped me try on about 6 wedding dresses and was very professional. I could tell that she was genuinely interested in making sure I found the right dress.
When I found THE dress she picked out a few different styles of tiaras and veils for me to try on, as well as the most beautiful pair of heels. I loved her choices so much, it made it choosing my accessories incredibly easy. I ended up ordering my dress and all of the undergarments and accessories that day. :) My stylist and her co-workers helped me get as many coupon discounts as I could and worked with me since I forgot one of mine at home (switched wallets). I got EVERYTHING I need for my wedding day outfit for just over $1,000 which is unbelievable.
I can't wait to see what kind of styles she puts together for my 3 bridesmaids when we have our next appointment in a couple weeks. Thank you so much to Carlyn and the entire David's Bridal team!
