  • Delicious, healthy cooking, lovely atmosphere, and excellent service: Bella Luna, one of the best restaurants on the west side. It's family-run with hand-made food. I had the Chicken Genovese: artichokes, tomatoes, mushrooms & capers in a white wine lemon butter sauce. Yummy. I usually get the Lasagna with marinara (instead of meat sauce), also outrageous. I also recommend the shrimp cocktail: large, crisp, shrimp, served traditional style. The salmon oscar is delicious, as well as the orange roughy special done egg-battered with risotto. Delicious. Excellent wine selection. The music is Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, big band and other good old classics. Prices are very reasonable.
