  • NEVER EVER sign a personal training contract with this gym. They have horrible cancellation penalties and policies. There are so many good gyms that offer month to month sign ups, waive initiation fees (which you should never pay) Have deferment if you need to take time off for health or travel, make it simple to cancel with no penalties or hassles. I will never step foot into LA FITNESS again. Took terrible advantage of a young teacher starting her first job and with no concept of what she was really signing, and could care less when she realized she could not at all afford this and would be putting in 12 hour days at her new job. Find a gym that will not make you sign a contract!!!
