  • For a burger and late night drinking place their menu stops early, at 10pm. First time we went, we didn't stay because it was 11 and we hadn't had dinner yet. We were hungry! Recently went for a late lunch with a friend. Wasen't my first choice but everywhere else in Kensington was packed. Friend was running really late, they were fine with me sitting on the patio waiting. Would have been nice if the server asked if I wanted to order an appy, because I did but couldn't really get her direct attention except when she told me she was going for a smoke - which isn't really the most convenient time to place an order?!!? Oh well. Service is decent, but the place has a total hipster attitude to it so don't take the slight rudeness personally. Menu sounds amazing, uses lots of awesome ingredients and has selection. I went healthy and got the veg burger and spinach salad. Veg burger patty was very very dry, even for a veg burger. Salad was pretty boring. Buns are good. Friend went all out with a cheesy beef burger and onion rings. The onion rings are really good, thin but good. Her burger looked good, heavy and saucy but really appealing. The homemade gingerale is amazing, and their beer selection is good. I would go again, when I am in the mood for a loaded burger and beer.
