  • Good beans, very nice interior, proper handiwork behind the machine, self serve water, faux crackling fireplace (on a flatscreen) are the highlights. But the coffee is lacking depth & refinement you can find at Cafe Plume, Pikolo, Myriade, Flocon, Névé, and Pourquoi Pas amongst others. Service was straight forward and formal. Tips given were unacknowledged. I tried the powdered sugar dusted chausson aux pommes: definitely skip it. This should be a last-resort purchase only if you're dying of hunger. Browning: non-existent, butter/apple flavor: I searched and did not find, texture: lacking crunch but was somewhat flaky. Come for the quiet, warm, relaxed atmosphere and to bask in the short-lived winter afternoon sunshine streaming through the front window.
