I fell in love with the Palazzo the first time I came to Vegas. My first trip to Vegas was July of this year. I choose the Palazzo because of it's spacious suites that is unrivaled by any other hotel. However, I was very disappointed with my 2nd stay. As Amex customer, I booked my reservation via FHR program which encompasses early check in and room upgrade. Both of which are based on availability. I arrived at 2:50 pm and no room was ready for me. I was really upset because my other half had to lugged our ridiculous luggage around. We did not get a room until 3:42! Which is after the regular check in time! In addition we never got a room upgrade. My first visit, I had gotten an upgrade to the strip view. My second visit I got a downgrade by getting a view of the parking lot! This December will be my third visit to Vegas of this year and I have decided not to stay here. If you are an Amex FHR user like me I wish you the best luck when booking the Palazzo because depending on who is your receptionist you will be in for a treat or be devastatingly disappointed.
