I recently purchased a Living Social deal for 10 massages for $100. Which I thought seemed too good to be true, and people told me it was a probably a scam. It is not a scam, although it will seem like one before you get your massage.
I will tell you now this place will NEVER answer the phone. Just book your appointments online at http://www.canadabeautyandhealthcare.com/.
Then it took me forever to find it. Its in First Canadian Place on the 56th floor. Which they do not tell you on their website. I just assumed it was in a retail space not on an office floor. When you get up to the floor it looks like a corporate office and there's a horrendous bitch of a receptionist. This place seems like a money laundering front because she is the receptionist for like 25 businesses on that floor. And apparently lots of people have been having trouble finding the place... and the receptionist seems very frustrated by that.
This place isn't a spa so if you're expecting a luxury spa experience this is not your bag. The 60 minute deep tissue massage was good and the massage therapist was great. It was the same as a massage I've had at a luxury spa but the room is super basic. There's no candles, music, steam, or warm cloths or anything. She used an unscented massage oil which was fine for me and there's just a table in a small room that looks like its an office. Its just a straight up massage, no fuss, no muss.
So for a really cheap massage deal this is probably worth the initial hassle. Hopefully I have given you an accurate review and provided the instructions you'll need to accomplish the job! I just hope this place doesn't get shut down. But I'll probably go for a few more massages just to get my money's worth.
