  • Sprouts is my go-to grocery store. I don't even shop anywhere else. (Whole Foods just seems overpriced sometimes).. I recently moved to the south west area.. I used to just make the long drive to the sprouts on lake mead or rainbow. Even now, I am closer to one on rainbow but I find that this location is just cleaner. While it is cleaner, well kept and usually well stocked... the customer service sucks. I've never been greeted or helped here. And for 20 visits to sprouts you'd think that I would have a pleasant experience by now. The staff always seem snooty like they don't want to be here. It does bug me that no one is friendly or helpful...or even willing to do the minimal job of asking how you are. This bugs me because on more than 5 occasions I have seen female cashiers standing with each other in front of customers, talking about their employees and WORSE-- other customers. I think because it's so frequent, I will interrupt them next time and let them know that myself, as well as other customers in line...CAN HEAR THEM. Because I've worked in customer service for 11 years (since the age of 16) I think it's ridiculous that these people represent this company. Customer service alone is why I decided to go to the less curb appeal location on Rainbow, and why I decided to go out of my way to leave this review. Such a nice grocery store in an awesome area, represented poorly by people who don't care about the customer. I've also had 3 occasions (all in a row) where I purchased chicken or beef that was good for 3 to 5 more days (according to the date) that went bad within 24 hours. I rarely buy meat here now and if I do, I have to open it and cook it promptly after buying. Otherwise the smell upon opening is unbearable.
