We were really excited to try this place out since it's close to home. We were underwhelmed. A group of four of us ordered eight appetizers and two salads and it was just okay. The gnocchi was the star of the show. Fries were soggy, scallops were a total let-down (the plate came with TWO scallops and four scallop-imposter rice cakes). A few items were missing from the salads. Our server was slow despite us letting him know we were headed to a movie and despite the early hour. It wasn't even busy. We ended up having to split up so one person could wait for the check and the rest could head to the theatre. And we all left semi hungry and unsatisfied.
I do like the open, spacious and well-lit dining room. And I love the idea of the semi-private dining areas-would be great for birthday dinners, etc. They have a good start on the decor, but I think they could benefit from a professional designer to really make it work.
