  • The people are very nice, however they lack a sense of urgency. When told "if you don't get this issue diagnosed, there is a possibility that you could become Permanently Disabled or Death" I expect that same level of urgency when getting the referrals for the tests. It took 2 weeks before I was told that a referral for an MRI was submitted. The MRI place had the referral for 1 full week and never bothered to tell me. Neither did Headache Specialists, it took for me to call in wondering why I haven't gotten the referral. I ended up having a panic attack while in the MRI machine. I was unable to complete / start the scan and would have to come back another day. When I called to schedule another appointment I was told that I was going to have to wait another 3 weeks unless I get a STAT order. I don't understand why a STAT order wasn't put in the first place. Again, I could "Die" from this condition yet they don't seem to think that way when putting in a referral? I went to them last friday to get a STAT order so I could get another MRI this week. They said "We will submit the order on Monday by 8:35AM", well it is 9:40AM and the order still hasn't been submitted. As a patient, I expect a doctor's office to treat me with the same urgency as the doctor is portraying in the examination room. My symptoms have been getting noticeably worse with more episodes of TIA (transient ischemic attack) and a splitting headache 24/7. This can lead to a full blown Stroke yet the offices don't seem to care enough to get things done in a timely manner.
