| - Dr. Wood is kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. He diagnosed me with troubling eye issues both last summer, and this January of which he referred me to specialists.
I have been a patient of his for 7 or 8 years, just went in for routine vision exams and to update my prescription glasses. But as long as he has this young man working at the eyeglass desk in the front office , I will not be back.
He doesn't make eye contact, doesn't offer input, doesn't put forth ANY helpful attitude or suggestions at all.
The reading glasses I bought in November ( that he took the order on-never looking at me or smiling, or showing any human emotions other than contempt) broke at the arm and he said yes, a few patients have had that problem with these frames, but since they were on sale I'd get no warranty. (This was right after horrific eye surgery that left my vision blurry even reading large type)
I asked how much to put simple prescription lenses into an old pair of frames I had an he said 80.00.
I called Wal-mart and they said 40.00.
I left a message with the receptionist at how upset I was over this, and she too said the office manager was out of town.
I hope Dr. Wood reads these yelps.
