  • I understand why this company has so many negative reviews. I do not subscribe to a particular brand of car wash, in fact, I like using the self-serve washes and doing the work myself. But maybe once or twice per year, I like to pay for a full service wash. I took my car to this location today, ready to pay for a VIP Works wash. The gentleman who approached me was nice at first but then became extremely pushy about an upgrade, interior detail, etc, and kept trying to bargain with me. I declined multiple times and his demeanor changed. Then a "glass consultant" (?) basically told me to give him my insurance card so he could fix all the cracks in my windshield for free. What he was pointing out to me as cracks were just dirt! When I declined that service, the first guy tried to upsell me again on interior detailing, offering me a "great deal". Come on guys, when a girl says "no", she means "no"! I basically walked away while they were still talking to me. I made it into the cashier and noticed on my bill that I had a "fast pass" discount for the Works wash. I inquired about that and the cashier said I had signed up for this is March. Ummm... this is only my second trip to a Jacksons. The first time was earlier in the year, maybe March, when I did an express wash at the 1.6 star rated location near my house. I remember there was an employee standing at the entrance and said they were running a special for a free wash with the purchase of one wash that day, and that I could pay for my current wash right there. I don't remember signing anything or receiving any paperwork and actually forgot about this until right now. I filled out whatever form was needed to stop the service and checked my bank account for monthly charges (I don't recall seeing any in the past and didn't find any today). What kind of shady sales practice is going on with this place?? I'm sitting here waiting for my car to be finished, and I don't even care how the car looks, I just want to get out of here and never come back. Update: the guys who did the final cleaning actually did a pretty decent job. I tipped them well but I'm still not giving more than one star.
