Went here for dinner. We were fans of On the Border before it closed down at Desert Ridge, so decided to try out San Felipe's as a Mexican sitdown substitute.
Very casual and loud place. But, could still have a conversation without shouting - always a plus!
The happy hour deals are pretty good, as we ordered the Ultimate Margarita during this time. Very good for $4, but a little more sweet and sour than my liking.
The salsa is delicious. Flavorful, but not a whole lot of kick.
Someone ordered the Surf and Turf tacos, and they were just bland. Another person added salsa to his second one and he noted he enjoyed it more that way.
I ordered the Chicken Wrap, and it was ok. At least they used salt and pepper in mine.
I think we were all feeling good after dining here, but I think it's just ok with me!
