| - I'm sorry this might be a little long, but I was really disappointed with this hotel.. For one.. Making the reservations was like trying to talk to my 6 year old.. Could barely understand the woman on the phone.. Had to repeat myself a few too many times .. By the end of the 33 minutes on the phone the reservations were made.. I called back a couple days later to ask why I didn't receive my confirmation yet and was informed my reservations were never made.. After getting upset and the run around and Until I ended up giving them my card number, they finally found it.. Very unprofessional, and aggravating.. Checking in was no problem, very fast and pleasant.. The room seemed nice until you turned on the water in the bathroom, it smelt like sewer.. The mirror and light fixture was hung crooked, and there seemed to be something splattered on the wall in between the toilet and bathtub.. Don't ask.. Don't know.. The shower head was awful .. It only had one setting ( which is fine ) but it sprayed kinda all over the place.. And for female who didn't want to get their hair wet, if you didn't have a shower cap, too bad, there was no way around it.. There was clothing tags left on the floor, and the worst part of the room was the bed.. Size great, comfort awful, it was hard and lumpy.. The only way to get a good night sleep on that bed with those pillows was to be drunk and passed out cold.. Otherwise good luck.. I'm sorry but it was one of the worst nights of sleep I've had in years.. Called down to the front desk in the morning to complain and oh boy that was another story.. The woman was helping another customer at the desk while she was on the phone with me and she got an earful from him.. Let alone me.. She was very unprofessional also..I explained my concerns and she told me she would have the manager call me when they arrived around 11.. I called back around 2:30 and was inform that the woman I spoke with previously didn't mention half of the things I complained about and also sent up housekeeping to my room, but because I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door they didn't knock.. She never told me she was sending someone up.. She said she would have the manager call me when they got in.. (Which they never did) To make this long drawn out thing shorter.. The manger I was speaking with was very rude and just plain bitchy .. More or less she was right and I was wrong.. She had no costumer skills at all.. She had an excuse for everything.. She would have been better off being a used car sales person.. Look you know some people might look at this and say I'm just a nag or whatever but it was a very long and stressful weekend for my family and I.. Just needed and wanted to be able to relax, take a nice hot shower and get a good nights sleep.. Unfortunately it didn't happen with this hotel and from the way they "satisfy" their customers I personally will never stay there again.. I'll be informing my friends and family not to either.
