  • Bleh. I don't know how this place has such high ratings. I mean I guess it's pretty budget friendly but so is buying a pack of Chips Ahoy and a gallon of ice cream at the grocery store. And honestly Slickables tastes exactly like that. So you're better off replicating the cookie ice cream sandwiches at home for *even* cheaper! People need to raise their standards for sweets in this town. These cookies were so unbelievably mediocre and the ice cream wasn't especially unique or flavorful. The cookies were hard, dry, and thin. The pictures people have posted may trick you into imagining that these cookies could be soft, warm, and thicker. Don't be fooled! You're getting exactly what you pay for. And then who would come here for just ice cream without the cookies? Look at the higher star reviews for this place. They're all like "2 dollars!", which I get. The lesser star reviews are echoing the same sentiment as written here: why are the cookies so rock hard and dry and bland when Slickables brags about baking them fresh throughout the day? I think because this place is popular with ASU students, it gets high ratings from that crowd. I'd have loved something like this in college. I would say if you're in your later 20s and have a little more to spend and a taste for quality beyond fast food level, skip this place.
