  • I honestly was a little hesitant coming to Cameo after my bad experiences at other hip hop oriented clubs but I can honestly say I've had some good times at this night club! The place is really hidden and I only found out about it by some friends. It's located behind the 18 and over club Afterlife and near the old location where Firehouse used to be. The place looks small from the outside but is actually a decent size inside. My friends and I could actually dance and order drinks comfortably. More importantly the environment was cool, the music was great, and there wasn't any drama. I even got to meet Joey Boy on my birthday and he was a chill dude. The dress club is formal but they do allow Jordans on which is fine but rare for clubs in Old Town or Mill. The only knock on this place would be the location. Since its a ways from the center of old town, it's really a "let's end the night here" type of place since there aren't as many cabs, golf carts, or taxis around now that nearby places such as firehouse closed down. I guess it would be difficult to compete with Red Revolver if they moved inward but I do prefer it here. Definitely my spot for my hip hop fix!
