  • I have visited Cornish Pasty too many times to count: some visits before the expansion as well as after the expansion. Each visit is consistently delicious as my first visit. Cornish Pasty is definitely a favorite place for me, and I even have family and friends who are vegetarians and vegans who love it just as much! The Place actually has more than just a couple selections for vegetarian options; they also have at least four different vegan pasty options. I don't think you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I can't exactly pinpoint an item for you to try, since I have loved everything I've tried... I will tell you, though, that I have tasted AT LEAST one item in each section: pasties, sides, soups, and salads, minus the dessert section, and everything is ALWAYS satisfactory! If you need an recommendation for soup, the "Mushroom, Walnut, and Spinach Soup" will leave you feeling warm and good all inside. I always end up feeling fully satisfied from one half of my pasty along with one side that is shared between me and my boyfriend, so I never have enough room for dessert. It has been so hard to go in there and order only dessert, especially when their pasties calls my name! However, I do keep hearing that all of their desserts are very good--I WILL try them some day! Along with the food, I am impressed with the staff/service - my boyfriend and I always get exceptional service. Our waiters always go out of their way to make us feel like we matter! I also dig the ambiance/seating arrangement. Some of their seating is interesting, as they are equipped with church pews--it's a pretty cool touch. With its pews and European atmosphere, I feel like I'm not in AZ anymore. Now, if you find yourself going to Cornish Pasty more frequently, try to sit at the counter near the open kitchen at least once - it's fascinating to watch the cooks diligently and precisely make the food; a lot of love goes into the food and I think it shows in its delectable taste! Just try it already! I hope you enjoy your experience here as I always do!
