Don't rent with LifeStorage in Vegas. If you do, watch your bank account and expect to waste your time correcting their issues. And expect no customer service at the corporate level.
Apparently this facility has changed management around August, as I was told by the office staff. For the 4 months I was a tenant I was force to make 4 separate trips to the facility to correct a computer issue with their auto-draft system.
4 months in a row their computer system failed to debit my account, causing a $20 'late fee' that I had to make a trip to the office to argue 4 months in a row. The office staff was very apologetic and offered to send a request after the 3rd consecutive time for a 1 month credit due to my wasted time driving to the facility and attempting to correct their issue.
That request was declined by the corporate office. Really? a $54 credit to say 'sorry for wasting your time 3 months in a row' was more important than keeping a tenant for the rest of the year? Oh well, since then the friend that was going to move in, in January has gone to another facility. The friend that is moving in March will be advised against Life Storage companies, and I will never refer anyone to the company in the future. Over a $54 dollar credit to say "sorry for wasting your time dealing with our computer issues".
