It's a neighbourhood bar. Nothing exciting but nothing offensive either. The food was decent, regular pub far. The service was pleasant and fairly attentive, although we were one of three tables in there so she didn't really have anything else to do.
Burgers come in a few varieties and sizes with various topping "packages" depending on what you like. My burger came with a giant portion of fries too. Giant!. The beer was decent.
Apparently they have a live band every night. The Tuesday version was kinda like watching your two cousins drunkenly play some instruments in your Uncle's living room. Entertaining but not really great. It was awesome when, from the stage, they suggested to a female patron that she was the only woman in the bar. Given that there were 4 other customers, I would have hoped they recognized me as also being female. Way to alienate people, guys!
Anyway its an okay spot to meet with friends. Just keep your expectations low and you'll be fine.
