BEWARE! I was rear ended by a Lyft driver who was found 100% at fault and neither her personal insurance company, nor Lyft will take responsibility for the repair claim. Her personal insurance says they don't cover ride sharing claims, and Lyft refuses to respond to inquiry calls from my insurance company. A friend in the insurance business says Lyft is notorious for never paying claims, or will drag them out for over a year if you can ACTUALLY get any reimbursement from them. How grossly unethical can you get??? I've never used Lyft for transportation but you can believe I never will now, AND I'll make sure to advise EVERY SINGLE person I come into contact with for the rest of my life that this is a dirty, unscrupulous, dishonorable company. I guess not paying accident claims is what has helped this company net $600 million a year. Great business plan ya schmucks!
