  • Obviously choosing your dentist on yelp would not be my first choice. But for people who are new to Charlotte and do not have a friend to give them a recommendation, this is for you. Actually, this is for really for parents that have a tongue tied or lip tied child. My son was born with both and after much research, I discovered a renowned doctor that specializes in this condition. I wrote to him asking him for his expertise and he sent me to Dr. McMurtry for a frenectomy. Dr. McMurtry is a full service family dentist, servicing adults and children and has special training in laser dentistry. His practice extends beyond teeth cleaning and fixing cavities to practicing frenectomies on infants, children and adults. The office is modern, immaculately clean and filled with a wonderful friendly staff. Robin at the desk, is a pleasure to deal with and will accommodate you to the best of her ability. Dr. McMurtry is a passionate, straight forward family man and that shines through into his professional practice. He took his time with me to explain everything concerning my infant son's tongue tie and had us back in two weeks to observe our progress. I highly recommend this practice and feel so blessed that I was referred to it.
