  • Great hiking spot with nice breeze! I wanted to take a break from the heavy commercial side of Las Vegas and decided to go for a hike. Since it is at the height of the summer, I was mindful to find a hiking area that is a little high up so it is not as hot and provides some nice breeze. The Fletcher Canyon trail took about 1 hour to get up and about 40 minutes to get down. As you go higher up, the trail becomes narrower and it becomes a wind tunnel, so hang on to your hat! The hike is beautiful but there are some areas where the rocks are very slippery and I also encountered falling rocks when I walked past a cliff. Overall, a nice getaway to see nature!
