After reading all the glowing reviews here I decided to check it out for myself.
I tried out the Firecracker roll and the Lion King roll. The Firecracker was their special roll they had going for a limited time. It was tasted well for one of the standard gimmicky deep fried rolls found at some many sushi joints. This roll and a number of other ones on their menu have chopped macadamia nuts which I've never seen in a sushi roll before (or any nuts for that matter). There wasn't enough to really affect the taste but it did seem out of place. It was reasonably priced (around $8).
The Lion King roll on the other hand was quite good but like most of their rolls run about $14 which is pretty expensive for 8 pieces of fish. Tasty, but ultimately too expensive.
The service left a lot to be desired. After sitting myself at the sushi bar I had to wait 10 minutes before someone offered me a drink/menu. It wasn't really busy (1:15 on a Monday). After getting the menu I had to wait another 10 minutes before someone came back. This time it was another server who was wondering if I had been served yet. The food came out in a fair amount of time. The sushi chef wasn't talkative at all to any of the patrons at the sushi bar which was unusual.
Overall it was ok, nothing to write home about. The food was good but pricey and the service left something to be desired.
