  • Our 10-year old Ford Ranger's transmission gave out a couple weeks ago. Generally this wouldn't be the end of the world, but we just got back from vacation & are buying a new home, so money was tight. We took the truck to Ford & they wanted to gauge us- $4400?!?!?! We immediately called Aamco to ask about a refurbished transmission & the cost. Don helped us; in fact, he was fantastic! He saved us $1400!!! He also treated me with respect. Often, men still talk to me like I am an ignorant woman- this is MY truck; I bought it & paid it off, thank you. Don was amazing- the whole Aamco team just made everything super incredible! We're huge fans & highly recommend them over any dealership.
